HausFunk was built from the ground up so that your data never leaves your home. The app runs entirely offline — no server, no cloud, no analytics tools, no tracking. Your voice goes straight from your phone to the speaker, then it's deleted automatically.
Requirements
You'll need an Android phone with a microphone and at least one Sonos speaker on your Wi-Fi network. HausFunk talks to the speakers directly via UPnP — no Sonos account, no official Sonos API required. The app is compatible with S1 and S2 devices as long as they support UPnP.
Why HausFunk?
HausFunk is a private hobby project. The idea is simple: if you already have Sonos speakers in several rooms, you basically have a home intercom — you just need the right app. That's what HausFunk does: simple, local, free, no frills.
