Play a signal tone before every announcement — from a subtle doorbell to a fanfare. Ten tones to choose from, and the volume matches your voice automatically.

HausFunk finds your Sonos speakers on the network automatically. Pick one, several or all rooms at once.
Per-room volume
Set the volume individually for each room — the app remembers your settings automatically.
Local music & playlists
Play single tracks or whole playlists straight from your phone on Sonos — MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG, even long mixes. With a player bar to pause, skip and set shuffle or loop. Exactly what the Sonos app on Android can no longer do itself.

HausFunk was designed from the start so that your data never leaves your home. The app works entirely offline — no server, no cloud, no analytics tools, no tracking. Your voice goes straight from the smartphone to the speaker and is deleted automatically afterwards.
Requirements
You need an Android smartphone with a microphone and at least one Sonos speaker on your Wi-Fi network. HausFunk communicates with the speakers directly via the UPnP protocol — no Sonos account and no official Sonos API are required. The app is compatible with S1 and S2 devices as long as they support UPnP.
Why HausFunk?
HausFunk is a private hobby project. The idea behind it is simple: anyone who already has Sonos speakers in several rooms basically already owns a home intercom — they're just missing the right app. That's exactly the gap HausFunk fills: simple, local, free and without the bloat.
